About Us

The first Farmer Boys restaurant opened its doors in Perris, California in August, 1981. Founded by the Havadjias brothers, this single restaurant focused on preparing generous portions of fresh food and serving it quickly to an ever-growing group of satisfied customers. The concept was so successful, that by 1997, the chain had grown to include eight family-owned restaurants, all in Southern California.

Due to the success of these eight restaurants, the Havadjias brothers made the decision to begin offering franchises. The first Farmer Boys franchise was granted in 1998, and the following year that restaurant opened in Temecula, California.

Today, 41 Farmer Boys restaurants are operating in and around Southern California's Inland Empire, with several more currently or soon-to-be under construction.

Great food is the primary reason Farmer Boys has enjoyed so much success in the highly competitive restaurant industry. Not only do numerous research studies bear this out, but a number of our menu items have been recipients of awards from various news organizations. The Farmer's Burger, for instance, was not only voted the Best Burger by Inland Empire Magazine, but it was also named the best burger in Southern California by KCBS-TV in Los Angeles. Other award winners include our deep-fried zucchini and our monster-sized onion rings.

Farmer Boys presents a unique franchise opportunity. We hope you will consider joining the Farmer Boys family, either as a single-unit operator, or as an area developer.
