JOB SUMMARY
Understand all facets of the restaurant and franchise business in order to identify opportunities for improvement for strengthening, protecting and growing the brand. Identify and share with franchisees the successes and problem-solving techniques the company and/or other franchisees have developed. Assist franchisees to optimize sales and profits through motivation and education of standards. Ensure the franchisees uphold the Farmer Boy’s image and reputation by compliance with the Franchise Manual, Franchise Agreement and their business relationships with people and institutions outside the Farmer Boys system.

MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS WRITER/PART TIME
Part-time position requiring 8 hours per week; hours flexible Mond
Part-time position requiring 8 hours per week; hours flexible Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM until 6:00 PM. Will work out of our corporate office located in downtown Riverside , CA. Responsibilities include writing copy for quarterly e-newsletters, e-mail promotions, and other projects as required by the Marketing Department. This position requires a professional phone demeanor and tenacity in gathering news from a variety of sources.
Qualified Candidates will have:
· Degree or currently majoring in communications or journalism.
· Experience in writing articles for newsletters or new publications is required; copy writing for consumer retail advertising or experience within the restaurant industry is a plus.
· Experience in news gathering and securing production materials, including photography, from internal and outside sources.
· Professional interpersonal and telephone communication skills.
· Ability to create acceptable concepts within a uniform theme style and tone dependent on marketing project objectives and media considerations
· Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
· Excellent communication skills, (written, and verbal)
· Strong attention to details, highly organized, computer literate
· Ability to work well in a fast-paced professional office environment
Proficiency required in pc-based applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
